PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

        $2,500 to $30,000.  This scholarship will assist great students that have small balances remaining at the end of a successful quarter that is keeping them from advancing to the next quarter or is impeding their graduation.  Criteria: Must have a 3.5 grade point average, have applied and received maximum financial aid, and have a small remaining balance at the end of a successful quarter.  Contact the financial aid department for details.

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP

        $2,500 to $30,000.  This scholarship is for athletes that have started and are actively enrolled full-time during any quarter. This is awarded at a rate of $5,500 per quarter, per year.  If the student drops below full-time  or a 2.0 GPA during the awarded quarter, the full amount will be forfeited for the quarter.  The maximum award is $30,000 for the year.  Students cannot qualify for the Athletic, Ministry, Military, or Outstanding Peer Support Scholarships at the same time.

MILITARY SCHOLARSHIP

        $2,500 to $30,000.  This scholarship is for students that are actively participating in the Military or a military Veteran.  Students must submit DD214 page 4, or a signed letter on unit letterhead from the unit administrator.  Listing their intent to actively attending Asher University for a year.  Students must be actively enrolled full-time during all three quarter.  This is awarded at a rate of no more than $5,500 per quarter.  If the student drops below full-time or a 2.0 GPA during the awarded quarter, the full amount will be forfeited for the quarter.  The maximum award is $30,000 for the year.  Students cannot qualify for the Athletic, Ministry, Military, or Outstanding Peer Support Scholarships at the same time.

MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIP

        $2,500 to $30,000.  This scholarship is for students that are actively volunteering in their church or local community.  Students must submit a signed letter on Church letterhead listing the activity.  Students must have started their attendance at the beginning of any quarter and must be actively enrolled full-time.  This is awarded at a rate no more than $ 5,500 per quarter.  If the student drops below full-time or a 2.0 GPA during the awarded quarter, the full amount will be forfeited for the quarter.  The maximum award is $30,000 for the year.  Students cannot qualify for the Athletic, Ministry, Military or Outstanding Peer Support Scholarships at the same time.

OUTSTANDING PEER SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIP

        $1,500 to $5,000.  This scholarship is for students that are actively volunteering to tutor peers.  Students must submit a signed letter from a staff member or coach stating the time, dates, and location the tutoring is to take place.  Students must be actively enrolled full-time in any quarter to receive this scholarship. Criteria: Must have a 2.5 grade point average, have applied and received maximum financial aid, and have a small remaining balance at the end of a successful quarter. This is awarded at a rate of no more than $5,500 per quarter.  If the student drops below full-time during the awarded quarter, the full amount will be forfeited for the quarter.  The maximum award is $5,000 per quarter.  Students cannot qualify for the Ministry or Military at the same time.
